I’ve missed you modernprincess.com.
I’ve missed you modernprincess.com. To those of you who have always come to this site to check when I’d be back, I’ve missed you too. It has been awhile, over a year and a half in fact. Since I last wrote a journal entry I’ve been through a lot.
My son, Alex is now 19 months old. He is also my pride and joy. Teddy is not in my life anymore, however he is in his son’s life. Teddy has visitation with Alex every other weekend. Alex seems to be pretty comfortable with the transitions from homes, well for his age at least. He is also at the age right now where he is learning new words every day and even putting short phrases together. Namely things like “night night mama.” There is no other way to say it, but I love him.
I’m also engaged and living with this man who isn’t so new in my life, his name is Joe. He is also the reason I’m back. My webhosting for modernprincess.com is one of my many 22nd birthday presents from him. Joe also gave me a 20 gig hard drive and 512MB Ram for my laptop, and upgraded it to Windows XP. Thats not all though for dinner he brought me home my favorite, Sushi. Yeah, he knows how to treat me well. My friends like him too, so I know he is a keeper since my friends have never liked anyone I went out with before.
So, more about Joe. He has a son named Andrew. Andrew will be turning 8 soon. He only lives with us every other weekend and some holidays. Joe is also one of the biggest computer geeks I have ever met, which probably explains why he got me the upgrades for my computer. He also works with computers for a living, and he works a lot. Hopefully I’ll get my webcam working, or upload a picture of him soon.
This brings us to the end of my entry, or rather conclusion of the short update on my life. The links to the right don’t work yet, but they should soon. When they do there should be more content to this website then just this. For now though, lets just keep it at I’m very happy to be back.
