Christmas Eve Eve
Since Alex will be in New Jersey for Christmas, this morning was my Christmas morning with Alex. He opened his presents that were under our tree here. He enjoyed his ride on fire engine a lot. Amy and Alex left for her mother?s house after dinner and I will see Amy again on Friday, but since Alex will be with his father this weekend, I will not see him until Sunday. I miss them already.
I went to my cousin?s house for a family Christmas get together and received presents for both Alex and Andrew. Amy and I got cash from my aunt, always a good gift. We will have to sit down and decide what we want to get with it. I enjoy spending time with family; I only wish Amy could have been there.
My first entry is a short one; I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to work. I really thought I?d have a lot more to say. This journal thing is a lot harder than it looks.
