Busy day!
I think Joe and I did every errand we have left for our wedding between today and last night. Yesterday we went to Sears and Joe bought himself a new suit, dress shirt, and tie for the wedding, and we picked out a tie for Andy too. This morning I did most of the invitations and mailed them out. I still have two more left to write and mail, so it isn’t too bad..though I need to get more stamps first. We also went to the dry cleaners to have them clean my wedding dress, and then to the jewlery store to have my engagement ring bonded to my wedding band. That means that I won’t be able to wear my engagement ring till August 20th, but I’m ok with that considering I know that I would have hated to go without both rings days after getting married.
Shortly after dropping off my rings, Joe pretty much told me he wanted to get me a pearl necklace to wear for the wedding. Of course, since I’ve wanted a pearl necklace for years (and Joe knows this) how was I going to say no? So, we looked at some nice ones, and after Joe reassured me about 5 times that we could afford it, I tried one on, loved it, and he bought it for me. I’m so happy. I love it. It is so pretty. I really want to put it on right now but the other part of me wants to wait till the wedding. I really do think Joe spoils me.
Of course, now I have a problem. See, I was planning on borrowing a necklace for my something borrowed. Now I need something else to borrow. I’ve got the dress, veil, shoes, and garter. What am I missing? Can anybody give me any ideas on what they borrowed?
As far as the rest of the day it was pretty good. Joe and I ate lunch at Quiznos, saw Spiderman 2 for the first time, did some grocery shopping, I made dinner, and then we watched The Bourne Identity on dvd so we (or rather I, since he already saw it) can see it in the movies tomorrow.
Now, it is 11pm, and I’m ready for bed.
