Falling in love.
Yesterday as we were dropping off Andy, Joe starts talking to Andy about seeing one of his sisters, Ezri. Well, thats when Alex chimes in “See Ezri” and starts repeating that over and over. We try explaining to Alex that Ezri is Andy’s sister, but he doesn’t quite understand. So, we decide to bring him up to Andy’s mother’s house and I ask her if Alex can see Ezri because he asked about her. So, Ezri comes over (and Kia Andy’s other sister) and they see each other..then Alex does what he always does when he meets new people and he is around Andy. He shows Andy off pointing at Andy going “That Andy!” Of course, he was talking to Andy’s sisters who know who Andy is..but Alex still doesn’t understand that. If that weren’t cute enough, as we we walking down the steps back to the car, all the kids were waving out the window and Ezri starts saying “I love you!” to Alex. Alex chimes back “What?” Ezri shouts again “I love you!” Alex still yells back “What?” Then we get in the car and leave.
The real question is, did Alex yell what because he didn’t understand what she was saying, or was it more out of shock that she loves him?

It wasn’t shock! It was a desperate escape mechanism to avoid commitment!
