All I want for xmas is my two front teeth.
It isn’t Christmas, but guess who has two front teeth? Well actually almost everybody, but I’m talking about Aidan. His second tooth is finally breaking through. This also explains why he has been waking up at 2am the past few nights needing an extra bottle to chew on and a little bit of comfort and love. Man, I’m so tired.
Aidan just got his first tooth a week or so ago. To be honest I can’t remember exactly when, as time has been somewhat of a blur, but I do know it was very recently. It also looks like he has yet another tooth trying to come in too. Poor boy, three teeth all coming in at the same time. I’m going to have many sleepless nights in my future. It is all worth it though. The more teeth he has and the more he grows, the closer to my yummy cooking he gets. I’m sure he is looking forward to that.
In fact, I know he is. He loves to look at food and watch people eat. Not to mention if you hold him on your lap he will start attacking your plate and try and shove it in his mouth. I’m going to have to start giving him tastes of some real food like Cheerios soon, otherwise I think he is going to explode with all this waiting. Alex had rejected all baby food at around 9 months and only wanted table food, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. They are brothers after all.
I’ll try and take a picture of Aidan with teeth and post it. It is really hard though to get that boy to keep his mouth open for long enough though.
Edited to include photo!
(Sorry, this is the best I could do. The flash hides those budding whites every time.)

Aiden sounds like such a cutie! My DS got his teeth early. He is now 14 months and already has 8 teeth! He got his first two at 4 months.
You are so lucky about your little man wanting to eat food. I took that for granted I suppose. My DS will not feed himself anything. He didn’t eat table food until he was over 12 months and will only eat now if we feed him. He is getting better and I am sure that he will feed himself eventually. He has always done things in his own time.
Congrats on the teeth. I hope you both get some sleep soon.

So cute!! My dd is teething too and in the oddest way! She first got her bottom two. Then
she got the outside top two and are now trying to cut the top middle two. Very strange.
I can surely sympathise with you on the late night crying! Hopefully his teeth will come
out soon!!
