Modern Princess

In West Virginia.

I’m posting from West Virgina. In a hotel. I’m so glad hotels offer high speed access, otherwise I might, you know, die or something. Ok maybe thats being overly dramatic, but I love my high speed internet what can I say?

The family and I came up here for a family reunion. The drive up was pretty nice. We left around 10:20am and got here around 2:30, I think. Only one rest stop. Alex and Aidan were good, didn’t fuss too much about being in the car and for the most part either slept or enjoyed the ride.

Once we got here Alex had plenty of physical activity. He took a walk, jumped on a trampoline, and played with the other kids that had already arrived for the reunion. It is 10pm and it is amazing he hasn’t officially fell asleep yet. Although I do see his eyes drooping heavily so it shouldn’t be too much longer. Aidan has been asleep for awhile, as he got plenty of activity himself. Especially when everybody started playing pass the baby. Aidan loves being held, though he is still unsure of some of the new people he is seeing for the first time, as well as some people he has met before but I’m sure has long forgotten. Oh well he has until Tuesday to get used to everybody and meet them as that is when we will be heading home.
