Thursday Thirteen #4
Thirteen things I say daily to the kids. 1. “Share with your brother(s).”
2. “Are you done eating?”
3. “He is just a baby.”
4. “In a few minutes.”
5. “I’m busy right now, I’ll get to it later.”
6. “Ma-ma, say ma-ma.”
7. “No no sweetie, babies can’t play with that.”
8. “Settle down!”
9. “Aidan is supposed to be sleeping, leave him alone.”
10. “This is why we don’t run in the house.”
11. “You just drank a glass of milk, wait a bit.”
12. “Stop that, you could hurt him.”
13. “What do you want to tell me?”Links to other Thursday Thirteens!

I say many of these things in my house too. Especially the ones like “she is just a baby!!” Great list.

lol … wouldn’t it be great if we could just record these repeat sayings and play them back when needed? I have two (pre)teen sons and talking to them is like going outside and having a conversation with our trees. I have to repeat EVERYTHING. Grr.
Thanks for stopping by!

I always say “we don’t run, jump or throw things in the house.” My dad used to say that when I was young, but as an adult I realize it covers most of the major things.
Mine are up too. Happy Thursday!

Moms totally DO NOT get enough credit for all the work they do. I’m so glad I don’t have kids now; I keep telling my husband, AFTER I get 2 novels published then we’ll think about it.

I love number 12, stop that you can hurt them, when you (the one hurting them)are really thinking, wow.. she deserves to be hurt.. at least that is how i always felt with my sister when my mom would say that to me.
