Learn something new..

With my husband you tend to learn something new about yourself every day. For example, this past weekend I learned that I am just a fat woman with an excuse and stretch marks.

To clarify, earlier this weekend he made the dumbest comment that pointed out that I have stretch marks. Well, yeah. Pregnancy does that, especially two of them in a row. You don’t point it out though, you just ignore it. Giving birth and cocoa butter lotion will eventually (for the most part) take care of it. Then to top it off yesterday while I was complaining that I was hungry and was getting myself something to eat, my husband also makes himself something. He states to me that “We are just a couple of fat people, we eat all the time. You just have an excuse.” Gee honey, you are so sweet with all the compliments. I don’t really take offense though. After all, I know the truth. It is called projection. Oh yeah, and the flowers he got me help too.

    Men are truly clueless sometimes. Mine seems to think that by commenting on my affinity for food, that it is going to make me not want to eat. That is NOT helpful dear!

    I wish that men could be pregnant for just one month. Then they would understand and back off.

    Ha, how rude!! I agree that he’d better run. My DH was kind enough to call me a beached whale while I was pregnant, just lovely ;).
